To conduct a detailed study on the development of the eyewear industry, Longgang District leaders Luo Ping and Lian Liling led a team to Shenzhen Jimei New Materials Co., Ltd. on June 18. This company is headed by the President of the Shenzhen Eyewear Industry Association. The visit included a tour of the company and a discussion session.
Chen Qiupeng, Chairman of Shenzhen Jimei New Materials Co., Ltd. and President of the Shenzhen Eyewear Industry Association, welcomed the delegation along with other association executives: Chen Bingqian (Executive President), Wu Xibin (Supervisor General), and Cai Bin (Secretary-General). During the meeting, Longgang District leaders and members listened to presentations from the Shenzhen Eyewear Industry Association, the Longgang District Eyewear Chamber of Commerce, and Shenzhen Jimei New Materials Co., Ltd.
The purpose of this research was to gather information about the industry and its enterprises, focusing on the eyewear sector, and to enhance the effectiveness of future proposals by the district leaders. The aim is to address the needs of the industry from various perspectives and support business development.
The meeting highlighted topics such as the development of eyewear brands, the application of new materials and technologies, the future growth potential of domestic eyewear companies, strategies for reaching both ends of the "smile curve," international expansion of Shenzhen eyewear brands, use of high-performance composite materials, rebuilding consumer markets, academic and industry collaboration in design and materials, and industry exhibitions and sales.
